Marlene Teo
Dr Marlene Teo graduated from the National University of Singapore, where she was the 6th dental graduate in its 64-year history to be awarded BDS Honours. Throughout her course of study, Dr Teo was awarded a total of 11 academic and clinical medals, including the Lee Kuan Yew gold medal (best student throughout course). Dr Teo subsequently obtained her Masters in Periodontology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was selected as one of four finalists in the prestigious Orban competition. That same year, Dr Teo was also awarded the North Carolina-AADR Turner Research award. She’s an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, and an ITI Fellow. She was also an adjunct lecturer at the National University of Singapore from 2008 to 2018. She has lectured widely on the Periodontal and Aesthetic aspects of Dental Implants. Dr. Teo currently maintains a clinical practice limited to periodontics and dental implants at An Dental, Singapore.
