Dr. med. dent. Embarked on his professional development to qualify as an oral surgeon at the Clinic and Polyclinic for Oral, Maxillofacial and Facial Plastic Surgery, University Hospital RWTH, Aachen, Germany in March 2015 and gained his qualification as an oral surgeon with the North Rhine Dentists’ Association in July 2018. He worked with all-ceramic dental implants while he was still studying dentistry and evaluated data on their application. His thesis concerned a “clinical and radiographic examination of all-ceramic dental implants. A retrospective study in 87 patients” (doctorate to qualify as Dr. med. dent. at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich 07/2016). Since 2016, the oral surgeon has implanted both titanium and ceramic implants on a regular basis and is involved in a large number of clinical studies on the subject at the University Hospital of the RWTH Aachen.
